Niru Kumra is an entrepreneur, food developer, producer, supplier, author and mentor. She moved to Norway with her parents at the age of eight and has spent more than two decades promoting Indian cuisine and culture.

Through her extensive experience delivering courses and lectures on Indian food, Niru has established herself as a respected voice in Norway’s culinary community.

 

She is the founder of MasalaMagic, a company offering an authentic, plant-based range of food products. The brand is represented through leading Norwegian retailers and food partners, including NorgesGruppen, Coop, Oda, Fjordland and Godt Levert.

Alongside her entrepreneurial work, Niru is a published cookbook author, culinary tour leader to India and a passionate ambassador for India’s rich culinary traditions. Through her work, she inspires others to discover authentic Indian flavours while helping to build greater cultural understanding through food.
